If you have love for money, then in no way can you pursue a life for the love of God.
If you have a love for God, then money becomes less important.

This life is a test, what do you go for, money or your Lord?

I commend you for trying to live your life as Jesus did. A great man, with so many amazing teachings.

As a Muslim, I should live my life according to the way Muhammed (peace be upon him) did. That requires attaining a balance between the spiritual side and work. You see people work so hard, but where does the blessings come from? Work but remember your Lord. I believe everybody can achieve peace within. The question is, are we ready to seperate ourselves from the 'love' we have for money?

Ahmed

Peace be upon to youAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25149653.post-62908408309066143012007-01-06T18:22:00.000-07:002007-01-06T18:22:00.000-07:00"Yes, here’s the mysterious paradox: Only when pro..."Yes, here’s the mysterious paradox: Only when professed Christians can finally be honest and confess the obvious, that they do not believe the teachings of Jesus, only when we can confess that Jesus’ teachings are impossible to follow – only then can we believe the teachings of Jesus. Only then can the impossible become possible." I'm still trying to sign in, so this is just a test right now, to see if it will take my information (which I meanwhile forgot)......

Ok! It took.

The pic of the camel going through the eye of a needle on a piece of thread is awesome. I really like you listing your resources for us to easily use too, on the sidebar. Good deal.

Your words about not following Christ's own words are very convicting. If we TRULY believed what we mouth, we would follow them. It's so easy to TALK about them. In fact, I really think that TALKING about our Bibles makes us feel so good, wise and holy, we trick ourselves into thinking that KNOWING and TALKING is believing. We think OUR words make us holy. Only ONE Word makes us holy. How easily we are tricked.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08519312561993576152noreply@blogger.com
